Couple 'O' Books

I was looking at a website where you can adopt animals, and came across a dog at a high kill Shelter, who will be euthanized in four days if somone doesn't adopt it. It makes me so sad that poeple have to do that. When I'm a adult I think I will have a shelter thing for dogs who are about to be put to sleep. That would be awesome. One of the rude, crude, dude's from the other lane said my butterfly sucked! So I dared him to do better, and beat him bad in all the other stes of swimming we did. Note that he can't even do butterfly, so I found it even more offensive. Those three boys are always cheating!!!!!!!!!

I'm reading Inkheart By Cornelia Funke. It's good. I"m not very far yet, though.
Another book I read that I liked is called Aunt Chip and the Great Triple Creek Dam Affair By Patricia Polacco. I HIGHLY recommend it.It might look or seem inferior but never judge a book by it's cover and go ahead and read it.

Just a couple thoughts

Well of course, there is not anything to blog about. Oh, Yes!! There is one thing. About swimteam.
Yesterday, We were doing a set of eight laps kicking. The first time we did it Me and my two sisters beat the three boys in the other lane really bad. So their coach, Corey, was giving them a hard time about it. So he said just for fun we would do it again and this time racing. He gave the boys a head start of about a half a pool. We beat them by the end of the lap. But then by the time we had finished thay were done!! I said to Elizabeth "They Cheated!". She told Jill our coach. Corey wasn't there. So she told them and they had too finish. And the most puffed up one, he thinks he is so good and fast, Corey pulled him out because he was slacking!! Jill told me.

Here are a couple books I read that I really liked.

Goose Girl by Shannon Hale
Midwife's Apprentince by Karen Cushman
Seer and the stone by Victoria Hanley
I'm not finished with the Seer and the sword yet, but I almost am. Cheerio!!

Eldest and Friars

I am very exited!! My moms friend got me an amazon.com gift certificate!! Here is a funny story. My mom wants us to call her friend by her first name, and that felt weird coming out after calling her Mrs For forever. So Queen and I were trying to think of something to call her. Queen suggested Aunt,Madame,Miss. They all seemed bad. I was sitting there painting my nails, when suddenly I said. "How about friar?" Queen looked at me in disbelief. "That sounds like a King Arthur story gone wrong!!" I laughed but persisted. Friar sounded perfect. Just them moms friend called. Queen told her about the friar thing. The friend laughed, and laughed. A couple days later, I got an e-mail from"The friar" !!! She actually put that on my certificate!! Everyone had a good laugh at that. Anyway, I'm going to pre-order Eldest, the second book of Inhertitence. It is only $14.28!! That is cheap, considering it will go way up when it comes out. And a lemony snicket book. We don't own all of them yet. And a bookmark. I can't wait until August twenty-third when it eldest comes out. They will ship it to me then.

Mom and Queen are doing the Broadway musical version of Oliver Twist. Queen got cast as the only 13 year-old girl in the whole play. She's a good actress. I have nothing to post about. I've got to go, duty calls!!!

Swimming and titles

Well, well, well. I have nothing to post. Oh, it is my first to last sisters birthday today. My moms birthday is tomorrow. How do you like my title? I'm thinking about changing it again. Maybe you could give me suggestions. I like the green template though. What do you think? Well, I have to go and do some jobs. Maybe I could squeeze in a little more. My mom found a new swimteam!! They actually teach you things! Our coach is really good. Her name is Jill. She taught me more about swimming and technique than I ever learned before. She is such a good teacher! And it is at a way more convenient time, so we get to go all the days they have it. Even though it is small, and just starting out, I am always exited to go to it. Now I look forward to it. Our old swimteam was awful! The coach was really bad. The pool was filthy!! And there were puddles around the toilets, and the deck was always wet, and people were always against each other and they stole, and complained, and the coach once told me I was one that worst swimmers on the team!! Only after I got silver in butterfly by one one hundreth of a second did he say I was a good swimmer. He is always picking on our family. He only likes the people who are fast and always win, even if they don't swim right. That's because it'll make him look good.He never tells us how to get better, he just tells us to swim. I think he is a very rude evil person. Now that wea re on this swim team, we can kick his teams butt at meets!!!

thoughts

Dreadfully sorry, old chaps for not posting in foever. I am resolved to post more. I am thinking about starting whole new blog. I probaly won't though. I'll just redo my current blog. But if I do, I will tell you about it, so you can know. Well, I don't really have anything to post about.
I have decided to write poems and such. Queen is right about my poetic sense of being. I have been thinking. Maybe I should get a mixed breed dog from a shelter. They are just as sweet. Though would want a puppy. Or should I get a purebred? Oh, great, I need to go.

Oh, Tragic Morn,
When death comes and robs us,
Oh, Tragic Noon,
When sorrow envelops us,
Oh, Tragic Eve,
When the passings of the day seem but a dream,
But the ever present memory remains,
And haunts us.

February 1st, 2005
Yummipuff's babies were born and died on this sorrow-filled day.
I wrote this Poem in honor of brave Constantine and Constantina,
Who put up a brave fight but perished in the end.
